Here's to the nights that turned into mornings...

and the friends that turn into family.

I want to take a minute to say in this blog, I will always write about things that matter and are very close to my heart because I don't believe in not doing anything half ass. I always knew if I was going to write, then it would be all or nothing, being as transparent as I could in the process.

There's a certain bond that can never be broken with people that come together for a reason or cause, for that my bond with my people is nursing school. Nursing school is hard. It shows you what you're made of.  Mentally. Emotionally. Physically. You really find out who has your back when the chips are down. There are times when I don't think I can do this and wonder, "is this really for me?".  There are sometimes when I really want to give up. Real friends believe in you when you can't believe in yourself and they are definitely part of the reason i'm still going in this nursing program. This is where the credit is due.

We take pictures in elevator ceilings...

Take all the photo ops during an NCLEX review...

Find a friend who always has your best interest at heart...

Be together for days even when you're exhausted and still finding a reason to smile...

and always taking advantage of quiet moments because they are rare...

All of these moments add up to great memories. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. This is what life is about. I learn something new about myself everyday and the best part is i'm not alone. These girls are some amazing people that I have the pleasure of knowing and working with. I know years from now when we are all nurses in different parts of the US/world, we will remember the common bond we share. We will always be friends.

Just some thoughts for Monday.

Have a great week!!!

Do you have friends that pick you up when you're down?

What common bond do you have with you're friends?
