You opened this because you almost thought I got a facelift... Well the old blog got a face lift.
It's loud, it's out there, I definitely feel more at home.
Thanks to my friend, Becca at Jumping Jax Designs, my blog no longer looks like a ghetto part of the internet. Thanks girl! She creates all kinds of things, cards, announcements, and blog things. Go check her out!!
So turns out last year I only blogged 4 times. Probably because I didn't know anything about being a mother. Well i'm still clueless, so not much has changed. The only real thing that has changed is my child's lovely attitude.
We didn't get a Christmas card out this year...
But I did however get some half ass pictures in front of the tree. I guess that has to count for something!
I have to admit taking pictures at bedtime was not ideal.
Books come before anything else in our house.
A very sweet attempt was made by this baby. We've been working on blowing kisses. She can be the sweetest sometimes, but mostly a Sour patch kid!
See what I mean by the sour part... #RBF
However, we had an excellent Christmas, my leadership at work was way too good to me this year and I got to spend Christmas at home with my family. I really have so much to be thankful for this year and every year.
Well I don't know about you, but I don't have many New Year's Resolutions this year, but I do have a few.
- Keep my child alive. Seems like a no brainer, but some days I wonder how the cats made it this far.
- I need to put down my phone more often. I need to be more present, especially when i'm with Allie.
- Eat more at home. I find myself eating out way too much. I love to cook and need to do it more.
- Go to Disney as much as possible. We have about a year and some change left in Southern Cali and we have to make the best of it!!! Plus, I just bought more ears.
- Remember, to do things for myself. Mom's this should be something you should do always. It's so hard to take care of yourself when you have a little one.
I hope everyone has had an amazing start to this year!!
